That's me!
I am not an expert in any field. I don't think I know more about Google's new product offering than some geek in San Jose. I am not an expert in human behavior, in fact I usually get it wrong. I am not as sarcastic as some and politics are not my specialty. I like to dabble in all areas. I know something about business and emerging technologies and a little bit about politics. I tinker with cars occasionally. I own and can use a four piece cordless power tool set (I like to build things). I snowboard five or six times a year and I like to wakeboard and slalom in the summer. I exercise semi-regularly. I can use an oxy torch and perform simple weld jobs. I recently took up drawing and like to write simple poetry, no haikus or sonnets. In high school I ran a 6 1/2 minute mile. I have a 3.68 GPA and I go to church most Sundays. I am VP of service for a school club. My morning routine involves me waking up, adjusting my g's, taking a leak and then eating a bowl of cereal while I watch TV. Basically, what I'm getting at is that on paper I'm pretty average. But what the hell does paper know? I believe that nobody is average. Everyone has a unique story that has shaped and formed them into the person they are today. People are fascinating. I think the real challenge in life is to balance accepting who you are with making choices that shape your life into what you want it to be. For the first few months that I post to my blog, I'm going to tell parts of my life story. Maybe that will give people some insight on why I am the way I am. Perception is a large part of life. I realize that many of these stories may not have the facts straight, but this is how I perceived my life and those events. I hope you all enjoy.
